More that just a boarding facility – custom-designed boarding accommodations and personal attention are only a small part of the services we can offer you and your pet.

Kamp Kindness is the "next best thing to home". We strive to create an environment similar to what your pet is accustomed. Meals are provided and served twice a day so your pet can be fed at whatever time he or she is accustomed to eating. Hill's Diets are available for purchase. Medications and special diets can be arranged for those that need them at an additional charge. Refrigeration and microwave heating is available.

High quality care and rigid standards of cleanliness are maintained through strict daily hygiene programs. A separate cattery provides the quiet atmosphere your pet needs. You may bring your pet's special toy, but we cannot be responsible for this item as it may get chewed or pushed under the gates and misplaced. Additionally, we ask that you take back with you your pet's collar and lead upon arrival. Please bring them with you at time of departure.

Our groomers are an important part of a complete pet care package. A clean, well-groomed pet is a beautiful addition to any home. All regular grooms include bathing, clipping, brushing and trimming nails. Any health problems noticed are reported to the owner.

Close observation will minimize stress caused from being away from home. A daily checklist is used to monitor your pet’s appetite, elimination, and medication. Enjoy your vacation knowing that your pet is safe with a trained professional staff of caregivers under the supervision of licensed veterinarians. If your pet can’t be at home, shouldn’t he be at Kamp Kindness?

Medical Requirements

Because your pet’s health is important to us, we require proof of current vaccinations. Clients should bring their most recent vaccination certificates from their veterinarian.

All dogs must have current vaccinations against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo, Kennel Cough, and Rabies.

All cats must be vaccinated against Distemper, Rabies, and Leukemia.

Note: All animals will be inspected upon arrival by a staff member to check for fleas and ticks. Any animal entering the camp with fleas will be required to have a flea treatment at the owner’s expense that same day or it will not be admitted. This policy will protect your pet from becoming contaminated with fleas during his stay with us.

Rates

Check-in is any time during our business hours. Boarding rates vary by the pet's weight and charges are incurred based upon calendar days. Check-out is scheduled so as not to interrupt our guests normal routine. Discharge is available after 9:30 a.m. Payment is due in full at time of release. We accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.

Veterinary Services

In addition to the well-care services of boarding and grooming, Kamp Kindness is also equipped to handle all veterinarian services such as vaccinations, fecals, heartworm checks, physical examinations, and new puppy/kitten exams during your pet’s stay. Ask our receptionist or doctors about services available.

Reservations & Holiday Deposits

A reservation must be made to guarantee a space for your pet. During holiday seasons reservations should be made six weeks in advance.
